This is a generalist role where basic skills in data analytics and data engineering will be learned and applied. Associate consultants work side-by-side with some of the best in the business. Responsibilities • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor data-driven solutions that address their specific needs. • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and provide clients with valuable information that they can use to improve marketing, operational and business practices. • Create visually compelling and easy-to-understand data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Leverage cutting-edge analytics tools and technologies to optimize data analysis processes and streamline workflows.(Sigma, Tableau, Power BI). • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data by conducting data cleaning, validation, and preprocessing procedures. • Present analytical findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner, demonstrating the value of data-driven decision-making. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex business problems, utilizing your data expertise to drive innovative solutions. • Apply the Hakkoda Way and consulting methodology while interacting with project team members and clients • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the modern data stack, bringing new ideas and best practices to the team. • As of April 2025, Hakkoda has been acquired by IBM and will be integrated in the IBM organization. Your recruitment process will be managed by IBM. IBM will be the hiring entity Qualifications Required technical and professional expertise • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics). • At least 1 year in a practical project and/or relevant experience • Exposure to business intelligence / data analytics concepts and training • Basic understanding of coding languages as SQL scripting (Python, R, Scala, Power Query is a plus) • Knowledge of any of the following tools is a plus: Snowflake, Sigma, DBT, Looker, Matillion Consulting Skills • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members and data project teams • Ability to articulate thoughts concisely • Ability to problem solve - ask questions, seeks to understand and recommends solutions • Curious mindset - willingness to learn new skills, adapts to a change easily • Planning skills - Ability to prioritize - basic project mgmt skills, understands Agile methodology • Teamwork - works well with others, adjusts work style when needed, self-aware and open to feedback Preferred Technical And Professional Experience N/A
