Full Description

Data Science Intern What You Will Do: • Improve forecasting models that relate to vehicle durability issues • Enhance text classification models that categorize customer complaints • Conduct ad hoc data analysis • Collaborate with other departments/internal customers concerning data acquisition and analysis • Perform additional projects and tasks as assigned What You Will Bring to the Role: • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, business analytics, economics, mathematics, statistics, or an engineering-related discipline • Experience working with/performing data analysis and creating forecasting models • Proficiency in SQL • Experience in Python and/or R • Familiarity with BI (business intelligence) tools • Adept in Microsoft programs, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • A strong analytical mindset • Excellent time management, self-management, and organization skills • Good written, oral, and interpersonal skills What Hyundai Can Offer You: • A Global Environment that Fosters Diversity • Competitive Pay • $26 ~ $30/Hour • Flexible Work Hours Other Details: • Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai KIA must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
