2+ years in event planning or hospitality with experience managing multiple events and client accounts, plus familiarity with relevant software and preferably a related bachelor's degree.
The Event Planning Manager will serve as the primary liaison between hotel operations and clients hosting meetings, conferences, and events. Your work will directly influence the success of group business, guest satisfaction, and overall event execution, helping to drive repeat business and enhance the hotel’s reputation as a premier meetings destination. How You’ll Shape The Experience & Future • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event objectives and translate them into detailed, executable plans. • Serve as the point of contact from contract turnover through post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless coordination between departments. • Conduct pre-convention meetings and walkthroughs, communicate event details with precision, and respond to last-minute requests with poise and professionalism. • Support the sales team by contributing to the pre-event planning process and offering creative, on-brand solutions that elevate the guest experience. • Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement, upselling, and guest satisfaction enhancements. • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and future bookings. • Other duties assigned by the leader.
