Job Title: Procurement Manager USMCA Location: Corporate - Auburn Hills, MI Department: Purchasing Reports to: Goods and Services Purchasing Director FLSA Status: Exempt This position reports to the Global Procurement Director for Goods & Services and is a part of a team that includes procurement and category managers across seven countries. In this role, you will also lead a team of buyers. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and coordinate procurement activities across 15+ sites, in North America. • Lead the implementation of the procurement strategy • Develop and execute annual purchasing action plans and savings roadmaps • Monitor the performance for savings, supplier reduction, spend under contract • Pilot and coordinate the purchasing actions • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to enhance QCDIS (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Innovation, Sustainability). • Negotiate contracts, manage supplier compliance, and resolve disputes. • Promote best practices in purchasing, and continuous improvement. Propose standardization solutions, process modification to achieve quality and cost objectives (ecotech) • Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and energy management standards. • Foster team development through training and resource planning. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree level knowledge in business administration with at least five - ten years minimum of direct experience in purchasing, and a minimum English proficiency level of English C1. Spanish Perfered. Qualifications: • Proven experience in strategic procurement; strong negotiation and analytical skills • Proven experience working at USMCA level • Mastery of digital procurement tools (e.g., e-procurement, e-sourcing, outsourcing). • Strong understanding of business operations and economic constraints across various activities. • Demonstrated ability to optimize procurement performance. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. • Results-oriented with a proactive and open-minded approach. • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). • Ability to travel frequently, approximately 75% of the time
