Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights, supporting decision-making processes across various departments. You will utilize your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and project management to drive business improvements and enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize data effectively. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives through Agile methodologies. • Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into databases. • Conduct business analysis to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications for database design. • Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for advanced data manipulation and statistical analysis. • Manage projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery of analytics solutions. • Create documentation using Visio for process flows and system designs to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. • Perform quality assurance on data sets to ensure accuracy and reliability of information used in decision-making. Experience • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms. • Familiarity with data integration tools like Talend for managing data workflows efficiently. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights. • Experience with VBA or Bash (Unix shell) scripting is a plus for automating tasks and enhancing productivity. • Knowledge of linked data concepts and their application in analytics is advantageous. • Previous experience in project management roles is preferred, demonstrating the ability to lead initiatives from conception through execution.
