Bachelor's degree or 10 years in information security, minimum 4 years in network defense and leadership roles, hands-on experience with SOC operations, SIEM, SOAR, and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
Description Summary: • The Cybersecurity Operations Director will provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of technical resources. The Cybersecurity Operations Director will oversee the design of detection and response platforms while incorporating best practices. Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Cybersecurity Operations Domain • Work with leaders and team members at all levels across functional lines of business • Partners with subject matter experts to improve information security patterns and services • Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree OR 10 yrs of experience in Information Security, preferably in the Operations domain • Min 4 yrs of experience with Network Defense solutions • Min 4 yrs of experience in a Leadership role • Hands-on enhancing SOC operations • Hands-on in SIEM, SOAR, implementing MITRE ATT&CK Framework. Preferred Qualifications: • strong written and verbal communication skills • proven experience building effective working relationships with others • Financial background with experiences in information security • Ability to foster an inclusive and innovative working environment within the analytics team and across businesses • Demonstrated negotiation, influencing, partnership & presentation/communication skills • Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into value-added, data-driven solutions • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences • Proven creative thinking and problem-solving skills. • Management experience with strong coaching and mentoring skills to lead teams within a culture of trust and inclusivity. • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent organizational skills, able to coordinate multiple projects, and flexible at adjusting assigned priorities when needed.
