Our Residential Treatment Center in Katy, TX is seeking reliable, compassionate, and energetic Direct Care Staff to join our team supporting boys ages 7–17. Responsibilities • Provide daily supervision, guidance, and emotional support to youth • Teach and model positive coping skills and appropriate behavior • Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment • Assist with daily routines: meals, hygiene, school prep, recreational activities • Accurately document behaviors, incidents, and progress • Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff • Monitor residents’ health status by observing patient conditions and reporting changes promptly • Administer medications following prescribed care plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations • Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being • Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation procedures • Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations • Support residents during activities and outings within the community • Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and other emergency procedures Skills • A heart for working with youth and making a lasting impact • Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills • Ability to stay calm in challenging situations • Dependability and professionalism • Experience in childcare, residential treatment, or behavioral health is a plus—but not required.
