Senior IT Business Systems Analyst 12 Month Contract (Potential to extend) Remote $50/hr - $57/hr W2 As a Sr. IT Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for serving as a liaison between business and/or technology groups by leading and advising others in identifying and defining complex systems requirements, scope, and objectives based on a thorough understanding of complex business systems and industry requirements. You will play a pivotal role in bridging business and technology groups by strategically guiding and mentoring teams in the identification and definition of complex systems requirements. This position involves partnership in shaping the scope and objectives of initiatives with a comprehensive understanding of complex business systems and industry standards, ensuring that changes drive significant improvements and align with organizational goals Required Skills: Knowledge of industry-standard tools for process mapping, documentation, and software development lifecycle management to enhance clarity and streamline business operations. Systems and infrastructure knowledge of the application supported, including the adjacent systems, and the technology that supports the application. Knowledge and understanding of industry tools and techniques to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model, and analyze requirements. Facilitation and meeting management skills with the ability to create a framework that encourages participation and productivity. Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile techniques, to effectively support delivery. Ability to negotiate and influence others through sharing information and gaining commitment Presentation skills and ability to present information in various ways to meet audience needs Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail for accurate solution assessment and recommendation Listening, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Interpersonal skills to effectively interact and influence across diverse organizations. Ability to collaborate with others in a team-oriented environment with shifting priorities and deadlines. Ability to prioritize and execute concurrent initiatives while balancing deadlines and stakeholder needs without impacting quality. Preferred Skills and Experiences: Familiarity with tools - AgilePlace, GitHub, Mural, Visio (for process mapping and workflow design). Familiarity with Technologies: Generative AI, APIs, etc. Knowledge of APIs and system integration Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology, business discipline or related field of study and a minimum 4 years of related work experience in requirements gathering activities or systems experience. In lieu of the above, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of 4 years related work experience in requirements gathering activities or systems experience. In lieu of the above, a minimum of 6 years related work experience in requirements gathering activities or systems experience.
