Cybersecurity Project Manager Remote $87/HR The Cybersecurity Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering cybersecurity projects across multiple teams. This role ensures projects meet defined timelines, scope, quality standards, and compliance requirements while aligning with established cybersecurity frameworks and organizational project management standards. The position works closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to manage risks, issues, and change control throughout the project lifecycle. Cybersecurity Project Manager Responsibilities Develop and maintain project documentation and artifacts including project plans, schedules, templates, and status reports Lead and facilitate regular project status meetings with stakeholders and cross-functional teams Ensure adherence to internal project delivery standards, policies, and governance requirements Perform requirements analysis and define project scope, objectives, and intake documentation Provide clear and consistent project updates to leadership and stakeholders Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and change requests, escalating when necessary Deliver projects using hybrid methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches Participate in organizational forums and prepare meeting summaries, recommendations, and feedback as directed Ensure project outcomes align with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements such as NIST, HIPAA, and HITRUST Support additional duties as assigned Cybersecurity Project Manager Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred CompTIA or other relevant cybersecurity or project management certifications preferred ITIL Foundations certification required within six months of start date (for IT division roles) Strong project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve project risks and issues General understanding of networking and distributed computing environments Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication methods, and cryptography concepts Knowledge of network topology and the OSI model Understanding of client/server architecture and enterprise risk management principles General knowledge of security technologies and cybersecurity best practices Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
