Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on an on-call basis. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of basic patient care, vital signs monitoring, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. The CNA is expected to work collaboratively with the nursing team, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills. Hourly Range: $20.10 -27.51, depending on experience Schedules available: Per Diem, availability for NOC shift (11:00pm-7:00am) required on weekdays and weekends To be successful in the role, you would have: • Certified Nursing Assistant certificate or currently enrolled in program • CPR Training • Prior CNA or caregiving experience preferred Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with ADLs such as toileting, bathing, and dressing. • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff. • Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort. • Provide personal care, including grooming and hygiene assistance. • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols. • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, demonstrating compassion and empathy. • Provide patient assistance as needed, including feeding and medication reminders. • Respond promptly to patient needs and requests, providing excellent customer service. • Participate in activities to promote patient well-being and engagement. • Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times. Minimum Qualifications: • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications are expected. • Working knowledge of basic patient care principles. • General knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques. • Ability to perform ADLs effectively. • Excellent communication skills in the English language. • Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Experience providing nursing care in a healthcare setting. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in a hospital or long-term care facility. • Familiarity with electronic health records. • Prior experience with patient assistance. What's in it for you?
