The general salary range for this position is $55,000 – 75,000. Salary offers will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, training and education. Humane World for Animals, a global leader in animal advocacy and protection, is seeking a Program Manager for the Pets for Life department. In this position you will oversee and help manage Pets for Life program operations with mentorship partners. You will ensure achievement of program goals and successes by mentorship partners. You will also work with mentorship partners on fundraising, development and sustainability. Responsibilities: • Supervises operations of PFL program mentorship partners and supported organizations through direct training and support, comprehensive program tools, best practices, processes and procedures; • Supervises work with mentorship partners on fundraising and development to generate fundraising opportunities, diversify donor bases, write grant applications, create donor proposals and integrated marketing campaigns; • Identifies, assesses and onboards new mentorship partners based on their organizational capability, fiscal readiness, market challenges and philosophical alignment; • Develops and implements overall strategic plans, program budgets and operational documentation for mentorship partners to increase capacity and maximize impact; • Develops and directs the use of guides, tools and trainings for mentorship partners to grow and sustain their programs; • Develops and provides program presentations, workshops, and meetings; • Assists in overall strategic planning for Pets for Life in collaboration with Access to Care staff, other Humane World departments, and mentorship partners; • Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in non-profit management, development, operations or another related field required; • Supervisory/management experience is preferred; • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; • Interpersonal and public speaking skills to build relationships, develop influence, and facilitate meetings; • Willing and able to travel; • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive; • Ability to lead and guide staff to meet department and organizational goals; • Strong knowledge of management practices. Flexible, willing to learn, and anticipates the needs of self and staff; • Ability to set a positive tone for employees during their day; • Ability to manage issues requiring problem solving resolution and conflict management with excellent interpersonal and intervention skills.
