As a Senior Market Research & Insights Professional, you will play a critical role in shaping Humana's understanding of consumers, markets, and competitive dynamics. You will design and lead research that uncovers not only what is happening in the market, but why—and turn those insights into compelling stories that influence senior and executive leaders across the enterprise. You will report to the Market Research Director within Enterprise Marketing. How You'll Make an Impact Lead High‑Value, Insight‑Driven Research Structure research that answers critical business questions and supports brand, marketing, and growth strategy. Conduct consumer research on communications in order to increase their effectiveness. This includes testing member communications and advertising to understand opportunities to improve motivation. Design, execute, and manage qualitative and quantitative studies, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, segmentation, and concept tests. Transform Complex Data into Executive‑Ready Insights Synthesize large datasets, consumer feedback, and market intelligence to translate complexity into clear, actionable insights. Develop presentations, dashboards, and reports that tell a compelling, visual story tailored to senior and executive audiences. Deliver narrative‑driven insights that highlight implications, strategic recommendations, and business impact. Drive Strategic Influence Across the Enterprise Proactively partner with Marketing, Brand, Strategy, Product, and Experience teams to ensure insights shape decisions and long‑term planning. Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, consumer needs, and competitor activity to anticipate shifts in the market. Manage vendor relationships and ensure research quality, integrity, and delivery. Champion a Culture of Insight and Human‑Centered Decision‑Making Develop tools, databases, and tracking mechanisms to monitor market trends and brand performance. Promote best‑in‑class research methodology and data‑driven thinking across internal teams. Serve as a thought partner who can influence decisions with clarity, confidence, and storytelling excellence. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, marketing strategy, or a related field. 3+ years of experience leading qualitative and quantitative research initiatives (healthcare and/or national consumer brand experience preferred). Proven ability to turn complex research findings into insightful, clear, concise, visually engaging presentations for senior leadership. Strong command of research methodologies, survey design, sampling, and data analysis techniques. Experience analyzing and interpreting large datasets using modern research tools and platforms. Experience with brand tracking, communication testing, segmentation, concept testing, or advanced consumer analytics. Ability to travel up to 20% for research, fieldwork, or business needs. Preferred Qualifications Certification in market research, such as the Certified Market Research Professional (CMRP) designation. Experience in healthcare insights, member experience research, or Medicare/Medicaid markets. Hands-on experience with survey platforms, qualitative moderation, and visualization tools. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $94,900 - $130,500 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
