The role involves producing scalable software solutions, participating in all stages of software development, and influencing the department's strategy while working with a team of developers on various technologies. Responsibilities • Work with a team of developers with deep experience in frontend technologies, distributed microservices, and full stack systems • Work across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies • Work with cloud native stack, build on Azure, AWS, or Google, use technologies like Kubernetes • Write effective REST APIs and technical documentation • Write automated test cases to ensure correctness, responsiveness, and efficiency of the software product • Provide expertise to influence project, initiative, and maintenance technical direction during discovery, planning, and implementation stages. • Maintain modern development standards with best-practice approaches and development processes Skills • 4+ years' experience in Python programming • 4+ years' experience in software engineering • 2+ years' experience in at least one of the following: Angular, React or Vue.js • 2+ years' experience in at least one of the following: Java or Node.js • At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or another cloud service • At least 1 year of experience in building micro frontends and/or micro services • Advance experience in Microsoft Azure • Experience in Building Domain Driven Microservices • Advance experience in building software with Cloud native technologies • Experience in SASS, W3C Web Standards, Web performance, Cross-browser compatibility • Advanced understanding of web modular design patterns • Content Management (advanced experience and best-practices Education Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or combination of education and relevant IT experience • Master’s Degree Benefits • Medical, dental and vision benefits • 401(k) retirement savings plan • Time off (including paid time off, company and personal holidays, volunteer time off, paid parental and caregiver leave) • Short-term and long-term disability • Life insurance • Many other opportunities Company Overview • Humana is a health insurance provider for individuals, families, and businesses.
