The Instructional Designer will design, develop, and evaluate effective learning experiences and training materials. This role involves collaborating with leadership and subject matter experts to understand training goals and continuously improve training programs.
Candidates should have an associate's degree and 1-2 years of experience in instructional design. Knowledge of instructional design principles and proficiency in Microsoft products are essential, with graphic design experience preferred.

This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating effective learning experiences and training materials that support employee development and organizational goals. This is a fully remote position. To be considered, applicants must reside in IA, WI, or TX. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Works closely with leadership and subject matter experts across Humach to understand learning goals of training programs; 30% dedicated to supporting Humach marketing efforts. Research, design and develop training curriculum. Designs and develops instructor-led, self-paced and on-demand training modules. Create facilitator and participant guides. Design and develop project-specific Resource Hubs (internal knowledge base). Lead train-the-trainer sessions with Training Facilitators. Partner with Development Specialists and Training Facilitators to continuously improve training programs. Participate in personal and professional development initiatives. Act as a champion of challenge and change. Constantly questions IWWCW (In What Ways Can We) do things differently. IDEAL REQUIREMENTS Associate's degree plus 1-2 years's experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledgeable in instructional design principles, adult learning theory and the psychology of learning. Proficient in Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Graphic design experience preferred. Branding guide experience preferred. Experience with SharePoint and/or Canva preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Passionate about continuous improvement for self and others. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
