Huffman Travel is seeking an experienced professional to join our team of highly experienced travel professionals to advise HNW and UHNW leisure clients. Huffman Travel is a luxury travel advisory born from a family with a passion for exploring our planet. Preferred location: Chicago, IL or Dayton, OH. Job will be based in the office Monday through Friday. Currently we offer ‘optional remote work’ Mondays and Fridays. YOUR NEW ROLE: • Assist with in-house book of business by joining an established team of experienced travel advisors • Research and quote hotels, cruises, airfare, insurance, and other travel arrangements • Manage concierge-related requests (dining, spa, etc.) • Enter data into our CRM and maintain client files • Apply payments & send out payment reminders • Prepare client documents & travel tips • Manage commission collections • Provide excellent customer service • Serve as backup travel support when other team members are out of office and as needed during clients’ travels • Handle unforeseen problems and complaints as a team with agency staff • Stay up to date on the travel industry and policies In addition to the tasks mentioned, any other assigned tasks that may arise to support agency operations. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • Previous experience in luxury travel, hospitality, or customer service preferred • Proficiency in Sabre not mandatory, but preferred • Positive mindset, proactive, and trustworthy • Passionate about the world, travel, and building relationships • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Creative, inquisitive, and intuitive in considering all aspects of an assignment to anticipate our clients’ needs and questions • Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple assignments at once • Profound understanding and respect of client confidentiality • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills REQUIREMENTS: • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willing to learn Tres CRM, Sabre GDS, and applicable online software • Must be permitted to work in the US • Must be at least 21 years old We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive equal consideration for employment.
