POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Director, HS Counseling and University Advising & Partnerships oversees Hudson Global Scholars’ high school counseling and university advising program, initiatives, and university partnerships. This role leads the strategic development and execution of the HGS’ comprehensive high school counseling and university advising program for the company’s global network of schools, as well as manages HGS’ partnerships with university pathways partners and individual, bespoke partnerships with English speaking universities worldwide. Reporting to the Chief Academic Officer, the Senior Director, HS Counseling and University Advising & Partnerships ensures consistent, high-quality support for international students’ academic and post-secondary planning needs in alignment with the company’s mission to prepare students for success in higher education and life. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS High School Counseling and University Advising Management Work with HGS executive team to define and develop the company’s comprehensive counseling and university advising framework in alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and goals. Lead and manage the university advising team and the successful implementation of the HGS high school counseling and university advising program for international students in alignment with company goals, KPIs, and tracking and reporting systems, tools, and data analytics. Lead and oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality counseling and university advising curricula, content, protocols, and student and family presentations and resources. Capacity plan for counselors and advisors based on success metrics and company pipeline and projections Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative metrics Higher Education Products and Partnerships Manage the company's higher education university pathways partnerships Develop and maintain HGS university partnerships inside and outside of the U.S. as part of the HGS student pathways program to expand and curate HGS’ higher education program offerings and to provide HGS graduates a robust, compelling, and attainable higher education experience Represent HGS at international conference and university fairs and events Stay current on global trends in higher education admissions and student mobility Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal and external leaders, teachers, and parents to support student success and program implementation and improvement Communicate effectively with students, families, and school leaders about counseling and university services and offerings REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Education, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with extensive background in high school counseling and/or university advising, and proven leadership experience. Certification/licensure in school counseling or university advising preferred Experience in international education settings and familiarity with global education and university systems Experience as a senior leader in an educational organization Track record of new program implementation, building, training and managing a team to KPIs, and... Track record of success in leading, motivating, coaching, and developing adults and high performing teams that deliver results Proven ability to analyze program effectiveness and adjust/change/innovate as needed Ability to thrive in a face-paced entrepreneurial environment and the capacity to strategize and innovate during periods of growth or challenge.
