Full Description

Hudson Awning is a growing awning and canopy manufacturer/installer seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter to support shop drawings, permit sets, and fabrication details for custom awnings and canopies. Responsibilities: • Prepare detailed shop drawings for fabric and metal awnings, canopies, and related structures • Produce permit and approval drawings based on architectural plans and field measurements • Revise drawings per internal review, client comments, and engineer feedback • Coordinate with project managers, fabricators, and installers to ensure accuracy • Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation Requirements: • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required) • Experience with construction, fabrication, or architectural drawings • Ability to read architectural and structural plans • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Preferred (but not required): • Experience with awnings, canopies, signage, or light structural steel • Familiarity with permit submittals and code requirements • Experience working with aluminum, steel, and fabric assemblies What We Offer: • Competitive pay based on experience • Consistent project flow • Long-term opportunity with a growing company To Apply: Please send your resume and sample AutoCAD drawings (if available) to Rsladek@hudsonawning.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
