In this role, you’ll be the go-to relationship manager for up to 20 client retainers, guiding projects from start to finish and working hand-in-hand with our internal and outsourced team of designers, writers, and developers.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of 15–20 ongoing client retainers, serving as the primary point of contactLead monthly reporting, ongoing communications, and (for select clients) recurring meetingsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships based on trust, reliability, and resultsCoordinate services across SEO, PPC, WordPress maintenance, graphic design, email, and social mediaScope and manage occasional one-time projects such as SEO audits/strategies and branding/web design initiativesTranslate client priorities into clearly defined internal tasks and timelinesLeverage and manage a cross-functional team of internal and external team members to ensure timely, high-quality deliveryProactively identify opportunities to expand and improve client programsNo direct copywriting, website development, or backlink-building is required. However, you will be tasked with overseeing that all content is produced to our client’s standards and delivered on time.Some keyword research, strategic content direction, data analysis to identify new opportunities, presenting key SEM insights to the client, and working with our SEO writers and web developers to ensure everything is executed perfectly to plan.Experience & Key Characteristics5+ years of experience in client-facing account management, preferably at a digital or search marketing agencyStrong working knowledge of digital marketing, especially SEO and PPC, plus familiarity with WordPress, email marketing, social media, and graphic design workflowsHigh attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for reading and adapting to diverse client personalitiesStrong time management skills and a bias for action.
