POS-11255 Product Manager, Editors We’re looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of HubSpot’s content editing experience. Our editors today are difficult to use and complex to extend. We're working to make them simpler, more scalable, and more intuitive for marketers. This role sits at the heart of that challenge — turning a fragmented system into a cohesive, extensible platform that teams across HubSpot and our customers can build on with confidence. As the PM for Editor Extensions, you’ll define the systems and interaction patterns that make editing in HubSpot consistent, collaborative, and flexible. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and other product teams to improve core experiences like inline editing, contextual controls, in-app hooks for AI editing, commenting, and personalization, while building a framework that supports modern content creation. In this role you’ll get to: Create a shared vision and cohesive roadmap for the future of frameworks and extension points that power editing across HubSpot’s content tools. You will be a critical member of the Product Triad - our system for building products collaboratively and strategically. Drive alignment, set goals, build understanding and motivate others, including cross-functional partners across the company Guide new product ideas from initial concept all the way through launch Understand our customers and their journey through the product by engaging with them directly and often. Use customer insights and data to identify pain points and guide iterative improvements to core editing interactions. Use data to identify opportunities to improve our customers’ experience, devise strategy to execute your ideas, and partner with business stakeholders across HubSpot to make solutions that help our customers grow Shape the future of inline editing and contextual controls, creating fast, intuitive ways for marketers to edit directly on the page. Partner with design and engineering to develop scalable systems for collaboration, commenting, and content configuration. Work with other HubSpot teams to ensure the editor platform is extensible, reliable, and easy to build on. We are looking for people who have: 3+ years of experience launching products successfully to customers Remote friendly, NAM east coast timezone A multidisciplinary approach to thinking, combining market, business and technical insights to identify opportunities and weigh tradeoffs The ability to articulate product vision to a variety of audiences A deep respect for the expertise and insights of their collaborators, including engineering, design, UX research, analytics, and others A drive to understand customer needs deeply and truly solving for their problems Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal problem-solving skills. Is a clear communicator and collaborator who can align cross-functional teams around shared goals. Understands platform scalability and extensibility and how to design systems that grow with product needs. Is curious and customer-focused, eager to test ideas and learn from real feedback. Can manage complex tradeoffs and prioritize for long-term product health and user impact.
