As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you can expect to… • Implement, configure, manage, and support Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and related workloads • Plan and execute Microsoft 365 migrations, including on-premises to cloud, cross-platform (Google Workspace, Slack), and tenant-to-tenant migrations • Perform migrations using industry-standard tools such as Quest On Demand, AvePoint Fly, and Microsoft native tooling, including discovery, remediation, execution, validation, and post-migration stabilization • Deploy and manage devices and applications using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), including configuration profiles, compliance policies, endpoint security, and remediation • Design and maintain Intune application lifecycle management, including Win32 app packaging, deployment, dependency handling, updates, and retirement • Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID, including identity governance, conditional access, single sign-on, and role-based access control • Support Windows and macOS device management, including modern provisioning strategies such as Windows Autopilot • Implement Zero Trust-aligned security and compliance controls, including conditional access, DLP, MDM, and Mobile Application Management (MAM) • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Microsoft 365, device management, collaboration platforms, and endpoint security • Create technical documentation including architectures, configurations, standards, and operational runbooks • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and successful project outcomes • Assist with Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and Azure licensing discussions and solution alignment activities • Deliver solutions in client environments across multiple tenants and organizational contexts You’re great at… • Delivering complex Microsoft 365 and tenant-to-tenant migrations with minimal business disruption • Using Quest, AvePoint, and similar tooling to assess, migrate, validate, and troubleshoot workloads • Designing and optimizing Microsoft 365 and Intune configurations for security, compliance, performance, and user experience • Creating automation using PowerShell, Power Automate, and related technologies • Packaging, deploying, and maintaining applications using Intune • Managing escalated technical issues while remaining calm, professional, and client-focused • Learning new technologies quickly and applying them in real-world scenarios • Providing technical thought leadership in Modern Workplace, system integration, and automation • Communicating complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders • Working independently while owning deliverables and collaborating effectively with team members • Promoting the mission and shared values of the company Sound interesting? If so, you’ll have… • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred) • 3+ years of experience supporting and implementing Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive • Proven experience performing Microsoft 365 migrations, including tenant-to-tenant migrations • Hands-on experience with third-party migration tools such as Quest On Demand and AvePoint • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), including device policy design, app packaging, deployment, and compliance • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation • Strong understanding of identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID • Microsoft certifications such as MS-500, MD-100, MD-101, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Workplace Administrator Associate are a plus • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills • Strong client-facing skills, empathy, and the ability to guide clients through complex technical challenges • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and translate goals into actionable outcomes The Perks We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, flexibility, and long-term success.
