Position Summary The HR Business Partner is a key partner to designated internal teams, aligning workforce strategies with organizational priorities. This role evaluates team dynamics, identifies talent-related opportunities, and collaborates with leadership to drive improvements in team structure, development, and engagement. The advisor will support leadership through a variety of workforce initiatives, such as growth planning, role evolution, performance enhancement, and succession strategies. They will also analyze and share workforce trends to enable informed business decisions, ensuring alignment across departments and functions. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Talent Partnership • Collaborate with team leads to design and evolve organizational structures, processes, and talent strategies. • Offer insights and guidance on areas such as workforce planning, role development, team effectiveness, succession mapping, and change navigation. • Use business understanding to shape talent strategies that support long-term goals. 2. Role Mobility & Workforce Changes • Oversee team movement processes such as job creation, promotions, transfers, and other role changes. • Maintain awareness of internal team structures and career development pathways. • Advise on mobility-related practices to support both organizational needs and individual growth. 3. People Data & Insights • Track and interpret people-related data to identify patterns, flag risks, and propose improvements. • Synthesize findings from surveys, performance data, headcount metrics, and other reports for stakeholder review. • Partner with internal teams to design or refine reporting tools as needed. 4. Workforce Program Implementation • Guide department leaders on the application of people tools and frameworks. • Customize approaches to meet the needs of distinct teams, ensuring alignment with broader organizational practices. 5. Performance & Development Support • Facilitate performance cycles, providing coaching on feedback delivery and goal-setting. • Promote growth planning by helping leaders design development plans that leverage existing resources. • Act as a resource for employee development and talent calibration discussions. 6. Cross-functional Project Involvement • Contribute to the planning and rollout of new people initiatives. • Represent the perspectives of assigned teams in broader people-related projects. • Offer insights to ensure new tools or practices are practical and well-integrated. 7. Engagement & Team Culture • Guide leaders in understanding engagement results and developing follow-up actions. • Help teams foster stronger connections and alignment with leadership. • Identify opportunities to enhance employee experience across the team lifecycle. 8. Additional Responsibilities • Take on other assignments or special projects as required to support the broader people function or business priorities. Qualifications & Experience Required: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent blend of education and professional experience. • 8+ years of progressive experience in a people-focused or advisory capacity. • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex issues and deliver sound solutions. • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills across multiple initiatives. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Comfort working in diverse, inclusive environments. • Proficient with standard business software and collaboration tools. Preferred: • Professional certification in people or talent management. • Experience in one or more specialized areas (e.g., recruitment, total rewards, employee relations). • Previous leadership or advisory experience in a people-facing role. • Familiarity with metrics-based decision-making in HR or business environments.
