Maintenance Supervisor - Elgin, IL $70,000 to $75,000/Annually Plus Benefits Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor, where you'll keep our warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone who loves problem-solving, developing talent, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities: • Direct day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring work orders and schedules are followed. • Supervise and support maintenance technicians, providing guidance/training when needed. • Ensure that maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to standard operating procedures. • Inspect equipment and facilities to identify potential maintenance issues before they become major problems. • Communicate with the warehouse and operations managers about ongoing tasks and upcoming priorities. • Monitor the use of maintenance tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and stored. • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to all safety standards and regulations. • Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures and identifying solutions. • Ensure that completed work is documented properly in the maintenance management system. • Oversee all maintenance activities across facilities, ensuring optimal equipment performance. • Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and schedules. • Manage the maintenance budget, including cost control and forecasting. • Coordinate with other department heads to ensure alignment of maintenance activities with operational needs. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental laws, and company policies. • Analyze equipment performance data and trends to improve maintenance efficiency. • Plan for facility upgrades and major repairs as needed. • Develop long-term maintenance strategies and capital improvement plans. • Ensures all employees comply with safety procedures and requirements to keep workforce from injury.
