Are you a highly motivated and driven fabricator with a passion for the steel fabrication industry? If so, we want to hear from you! We are a growing steel fabrication company that specializes in providing custom solutions for a wide range of industries including defense, industrial, municipal and structural markets. We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator for our 6am-2:30pm shift to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use our fabrication equipment within the shop to layout, fit and weld components from blueprints. Daily tasks are but not limited to gathering material based off of cut sheets or bill of materials, doing the necessary layout of holes before a weldment can be fit. Fitting the weldment and completing welding and finishing as necessary. Responsibilities: • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products • Build fixtures as necessary for repeatable items. • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance • Assemble products as needed after paint ​Qualifications: • Layout and fabrication experience with structural steel items • Experience using saws, shears drills and other fabrication equipment to fabricate efficiently from blueprints • Must have own tools to complete general fabrication tasks • Familiar with structural steel fabrications such as handrail, beams, stairs etc. • AWS familiarity in reference to welding expectations • 4 years minimum of fitting experience • 4 years minimum of Mig and Tig Welding • Plasma cutting and oxyfuel cutting • Hi-Lo and Overhead Crane experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • Welding: 4 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
