Senior Director Managed Services Channel Strategy & MPS GTM Description - Leads the Channel Strategy for Managed Services, including owning the MPS-specific strategy, action-plans and tracking. Responsible for operational success, strategic alignment and integration of activities with HPS, CO, CS, OPS. Responsible for defining direct and indirect GTM focus for MPS and accountable for strategic success across HPS and CO. Owns setting the strategic and operational goals for MS, MPS in coordination with CO. Assumes responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans and the overall strategic direction (MS channel and MPS direct and channel) Responsibilities Manage the MS Channel strategy and the MPS direct and channel business Formulates and spearheads the conception, planning, execution, communication, and delivery of the RTM direction for the MPS organization Responsible for steering managers and individual contributors engaged in MS channel and MPS direct/channel operations Oversees the performance of business metrics related to our direct and channel performance Guides the progression and implementation of strategic RTM choices, identifies consequences of decisions on a global scale, and defines potential solutions Formulates, oversees, and executes the budget for the function, anticipates fund requirements and monitors expenditures Oversees operational success, aligns strategies, and integrates activities with major organizational functions, setting policies and owning numerous measurable goals. Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development. Direct RTM Understand our direct customer base needs and opportunities Work with Portfolio management to define the type of needed modularization in our offerings Standardize deal components to eliminate customization - build the rubrics to enable Analyze current and future business dynamics - define business landscape Simplify our direct business - Identify the industries, customer types and geographies Manage OPEX structure and spend Drive alignment with CO, Finance, OPS Develop goals and milestones for short-term profitability and long-term growth Indirect RTM Understand our various channel partners and how they want to engage with HP to build their solutions Work with Portfolio management to define the type of needed modularization in our offerings Implement guardrails to eliminate our current long-tail of unprofitable deals Guide our Channel organization engagement of partners to enable maximize reach and growth Manage OPEX structure and spend Drive alignment with CO, Finance, OPS Develop goals and milestones for short-term profitability and long-term growth Channel Strategy Own and drive the channel strategy across all of Managed Services (including MPS, MDS, MCS) Provide guidance to MPS, MDS, MCS as to how the best channel engagement models Leadership Lead across MS, CO and OPS all things associated with how we are implementing our business in both the direct and indirect routes-to-market Lead across HPS to consolidate our channel engagement so we show up as one-HP and not pieces Education and Experience Required Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. 15+ years of job-related and/or service management experience Knowledge & Skills Agile Methodology Analytics Business Development Business Strategies Business To Business Customer Relationship Management Data Analysis Digital Marketing Go-to-Market Strategy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Market Research Marketing Marketing Strategies New Product Development Product Management Product Marketing Product Strategy Project Management Thought Leadership Value Propositions Cross-Org Skills Customer Centricity Prioritization Resilience Team Management Strategic Thinking The pay range for this role is$183,650to$293,800USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
