SUMMARY Responsible for all activities involving administration of the program on Saturdays: information sessions and student advising, responding to Smart sheets and other recruiting, assisting with schedule development, room assignments, and facilitating the enrollment of all students in a program that is cohort driven. The coordinator will communicate to students through newsletters, emails, or texts, and will interact with Student Services (enrollment, business office, advising) to enroll students. The coordinator is also the primary on-campus contact for all faculty teaching courses on Saturdays in the Weekend College and is the primary contact for campus facilities on Saturdays (classrooms, computer labs). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Conduct Information Sessions during key recruiting periods, and update/revise the schedule to coordinate with Student Services openings on Saturdays. 2. Be the face of the Weekend College on Saturdays, opening and closing the office, meeting with students making sure that teaching spaces are appropriate (if not, moving them) and interacting with campus management and technology services if labs are not in order. 3. Advise all students in Weekend College degree plans regarding initial placement, course substitution, progress, and completion. 4. Develop a tracking system that shows the progress of students to be shared with Deans, Exec Director, or AVC. 5. Work with Academic Deans and Exec Dean on any revisions/substitutions of the course pathways in each degree plan. 6. Respond to Smartsheet and other requests for information. 7. Work with the Communications Office on any changes to the Weekend College website, making sure that Information Session dates are current, and information is accurate. 8. Assist in the recruitment of students and the development of appropriate recruiting materials (brochures, banners, student photos). 9. Attend Weekend College students Graduation and place them in seating cohorts so they may march together. Strong attention to detail. 4. Possess critical thinking/problem solving skills. 5. Demonstrated MS Office computer application skills. 6. Excellent good written and oral communication skills. 7.
