Transportation Operations Manager – Wholesale Produce Distributor Location: Houston, TX We’re looking for an experienced Transportation Operations Manager to lead our fleet of 75+ drivers at a fast-paced wholesale produce distribution company. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), highly organized, and ready to keep our deliveries running smoothly every day. What You’ll Do: • Manage and support 75+ drivers • Ensure DOT compliance, safety, and efficiency • Oversee scheduling, routing, and on-time deliveries • Partner with warehouse and sales teams for seamless order fulfillment • Monitor costs, performance, and key transportation metrics What We Need: • 5+ years of transportation management (food/produce a plus) • Experience managing 50+ drivers • Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required • Valid driver’s license – required • 3+ years of truck driving experience (26’ box trucks a plus) • Strong leadership and communication skills • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • Availability for up to six (6) days per week, including alternating Saturdays and some holidays What We Offer: • Competitive salary + benefits • Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance • Paid time off and some holidays • Career growth opportunities Apply today and help us keep fresh produce moving!
