Design end-to-end workflows that support pharmacists and care coordinators, from early sketches to polished UI and prototypes. Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and operations to tame complex workflows and improve the product.
2-5 years of experience in product design is required, with a strong portfolio showcasing shipped product work. Candidates should be curious, collaborative, and proficient in Figma, with an eye for detail and a focus on outcomes.
At House Rx, we're passionate about making specialty medications more accessible and affordable for patients dealing with chronic illnesses like cancer and autoimmune disorders. We do this by empowering clinics with advanced technology and dedicated support from pharmacists and care coordinators, enabling them to directly dispense medications to their patients through medically integrated dispensing. About the Role We’re building a design team that thinks like product builders – working across disciplines with rigor, trust, and care. This role goes beyond Figma screens: you’ll think in systems, flows, and outcomes, and help shape the product alongside people who care. If you’re a curious, collaborative designer who wants to make pharmacy systems and healthcare better, we’d love to meet you. What You’ll Do Join early in our design journey – helping shape the product, culture, and systems from the ground up Design end-to-end workflows that support pharmacists and care coordinators – from early sketches to polished UI and prototypes, with clear specs and dev walkthroughs Validate your work with real users (pharmacists and care coordinators) Collaborate early and often with PMs, engineers, and operations Tame complex workflows and bring clarity to messy problems Raise the bar on craft – without slowing momentum Help shape a design culture rooted in care, curiosity, and clarity About You We’re not chasing perfect. We want someone who cares deeply, works well with others, and sweats the craft – from early ideas to polished details. 2-5 years of experience in product design (startup preferred) Strong portfolio with shipped product work and clear problem-solving Curious & low-ego – You ask good questions, take feedback well, and stay open. Figma-fluent – You build clean, navigable files with reusable components and patterns. Autolayout and Figma prototypes are second nature to you. Craft-aware – You’ve got an eye for polish, UI conventions and trends, and the little things that make a design feel right. Collaborative – You partner with engineers, PMs, and ops early and often. Startup-savvy – You’re scrappy but pragmatic, think in MVPs (not unicorns), and know how to juggle user needs, business goals, and technical realities — even in ambiguity. Outcome-oriented – You want your work to ship, improve lives, and move the needle. Async-ready – You’re comfortable with async updates and video walkthroughs. Human – You bring warmth, honesty, and a desire to help your team grow. Bonus Points Experience with complex systems – especially in healthcare, pharmacy, or operational tools Built or contributed to scalable design systems and component libraries Comfortable with async validation and user testing Portfolio that shows both systems thinking and polished execution Exposure to AI-native tools or interest in designing for/with LLMs (e.g., v0, Cursor) Why You Should Join Our Team A career at House Rx offers the chance to work with a talented group of entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, and technology builders who are passionate about improving specialty care and making it easier for patients to access the medication that they need.
