Role Overview: As the Sr Software Engineering Manager for HTS Media, you will lead a talented engineering team responsible for developing scalable advertising and media platforms. Your role is pivotal in driving technical excellence and delivering innovative solutions that connect travel brands with their audiences effectively. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. - You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality media and advertising software solutions. - You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals. - You will implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines. - You will manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk to ensure successful delivery. - You will drive innovation by evaluating new technologies and integrating them into the product stack. - You will ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance to meet the demands of a growing user base. - You will contribute to strategic planning and help shape the future direction of HTS Media’s technology. What You Bring: - 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams. - Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. - Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within scope. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams. - Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in the travel or advertising technology industry. - Familiarity with big data technologies and real-time data processing. - Background in machine learning or AI-driven media solutions. - Prior experience working in a fully remote environment.
