Role Overview: As the Sr Software Engineering Manager for HTS Media, you will lead a talented engineering team responsible for building scalable advertising and media platforms. Your role is pivotal in driving technical excellence and delivering innovative solutions that connect travel brands with their audiences effectively. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. - You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality media and advertising platforms. - You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals. - You will implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines. - You will manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk to ensure successful delivery. - You will drive innovation by evaluating and integrating new technologies and tools. - You will ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization. - You will contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for HTS Media’s engineering initiatives. What You Bring: - 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams. - Strong expertise in backend development, cloud infrastructure, and scalable system design. - Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go. - Experience with advertising technology platforms or media-related software is highly desirable. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams. - Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within scope. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the travel or advertising industry. - Familiarity with machine learning applications in media and advertising. - Knowledge of data analytics and real-time bidding systems. - Background in product management or technical strategy.
