Role Overview: As the Vice President of Commercial Loan Operations & Servicing, you will lead and oversee all aspects of commercial loan operations, ensuring efficient processing, servicing, and compliance. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and supporting the growth of our commercial lending portfolio. What You'll Do: - You will lead and manage the commercial loan operations and servicing teams to ensure timely and accurate loan processing. - You will develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and member experience. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. - You will collaborate with commercial lending officers to support loan origination and portfolio management. - You will analyze operational metrics and prepare reports for senior leadership. - You will oversee risk management practices related to commercial loan servicing. - You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within your teams. - You will represent the credit union in industry forums and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. What You Bring: - You have at least 7 years of experience in commercial loan operations or servicing, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. - You possess strong knowledge of commercial lending products, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance. - You have proven experience managing teams and driving operational improvements. - You demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - You are proficient with loan servicing software and financial management systems. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a credit union or community banking environment. - Familiarity with Indiana state lending regulations and compliance standards. - Advanced certifications such as Certified Commercial Loan Specialist (CCLS) or similar. - Experience with digital transformation initiatives in loan operations.
