Role Overview: As the Vice President of Commercial Loan Operations & Servicing, you will lead and oversee all aspects of commercial loan operations, ensuring efficient processes and exceptional service delivery. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and supporting the growth of our commercial lending portfolio. What You'll Do: - You will lead and manage the commercial loan operations and servicing teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. - You will develop and implement strategies to improve loan processing efficiency and member experience. - You will collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with business objectives. - You will oversee loan documentation, underwriting support, and portfolio management activities. - You will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. - You will analyze operational metrics and prepare reports for executive review. - You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within your teams. - You will serve as a key liaison between commercial lending, risk management, and compliance departments. What You Bring: - You have at least 7 years of experience in commercial loan operations or servicing within the financial services industry. - You possess strong knowledge of commercial lending products, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance. - You demonstrate excellent leadership and team management skills. - You have proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies. - You are proficient with loan servicing software and financial analysis tools. - You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a credit union environment. - Familiarity with Indiana state lending regulations. - Advanced certifications such as Certified Commercial Loan Specialist (CCLS). - Background in risk management or compliance.
