Role Overview: As the Vice President of Commercial Loan Operations & Servicing, you will lead and oversee all aspects of commercial loan operations, ensuring efficient servicing and compliance. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and supporting the growth of our commercial lending portfolio. What You'll Do: - You will lead the commercial loan operations team to ensure timely and accurate loan processing and servicing. - You will develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and member experience. - You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. - You will collaborate with commercial lending officers to support loan origination and portfolio management. - You will manage risk by monitoring loan servicing activities and addressing potential issues proactively. - You will oversee reporting and analysis related to commercial loan operations. - You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within your team. - You will represent the credit union in industry forums and maintain strong relationships with external partners. What You Bring: - Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial loan operations or servicing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, loan servicing systems, and regulatory compliance. - Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Experience with financial reporting and data analysis. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a credit union or community banking environment. - Advanced degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMB. - Familiarity with loan origination software and digital banking platforms. - Demonstrated success in change management and process improvement initiatives.
