Job Description and Responsibilities: The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of business and technology initiatives that support organizational strategy, operational improvements, and technology transformation. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages program governance, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with enterprise standards. The Program Manager serves as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, technology teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful execution of complex programs that span multiple departments and systems. Responsibilities include: Program Leadership Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple related projects within a program portfolio. Establish program governance, delivery frameworks, and reporting standards. Manage cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and project managers. Track progress across initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Identify risks, dependencies, and conflicts across projects and coordinate mitigation strategies. Serve as the escalation point for program-level issues or blockers. Program Planning & Execution Define program scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics. Develop and maintain program roadmaps and integrated project timelines. Coordinate project managers and delivery teams to ensure consistent execution across initiatives. Monitor program performance including schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. Ensure program deliverables align with business priorities and enterprise architecture standards. Business & Technology Coordination Act as the primary liaison between business units and technology delivery teams. Translate business requirements into coordinated project plans. Ensure technology initiatives support operational goals and long-term strategy. Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder meetings. Coordinate system changes, process improvements, and technology rollouts across departments. Governance, Risk & Compliance Ensure program activities follow enterprise governance standards and project management frameworks. Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and governance committees where applicable. Ensure compliance with IT security policies, change management processes, and architecture standards. Financial & Resource Management Support program and department budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking. Coordinate resource allocation across projects and teams. Track program benefits realization and ROI where applicable. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Provide regular program updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders. Prepare dashboards, presentations, and program status reports. Communicate roadmap changes, risks, and major milestones. Promote transparency and alignment across business and technology teams. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Experience Experience managing programs involving enterprise business systems, operational improvements, and digital transformation initiatives. Familiarity with enterprise platforms and technologies such as: Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform) ServiceNow or enterprise service management tools Azure or cloud-based infrastructure environments Data and analytics platforms (Power BI, enterprise reporting tools) Enterprise application ecosystems and integrations Agile, hybrid, or waterfall project management methodologies Experience coordinating programs involving multiple vendors, internal teams, and business stakeholders is highly preferred. Responsibilities Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience managing complex business or technology programs. Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving technology delivery teams. Strong knowledge of program management frameworks and delivery methodologies. Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) PgMP (Program Management Professional) Agile / Scrum certification Lean Six Sigma certification Physical Requirements: Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have enough mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weigh up to thirty (30) pounds, as necessary. Location/Work Schedule: This is a remote work-from-home position. While the role offers flexibility, the Director of Program Management is expected to be available during standard business hours and maintain a dedicated workspace. Occasionally, this position may require support outside of regular hours, including early mornings or evenings, to meet critical deadlines or business needs.
