Join a team recognized for leadership, top innovator, and diversity. Exciting Opportunity within the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) organization! This position is for a Sr. Engineering Program Manager within the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) COE serving as a Deputy System Project Engineer (SPE) on the Core and Airbus TXD development project. The CNS team is a large global team based out of Deer Valley Arizona with design teams in Minneapolis Minnesota, Bangalore India, Hyderabad India, Bruno Czech Republic, and Beijing China. The CNS team designs, builds, and maintains some of the world’s most valued safety systems within the Aerospace industry. The product line spans from Weather, Radar, Ground Proximity Warning Systems, Instrumented Landing Systems, Communication, Datalink and Navigation Radios, Transponders, Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems and Radar Altimeters. As a Sr. Eng PM here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing large engineering projects across the global CNS domain. You will be responsible for defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams. By developing and implementing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, you will ensure efficient project execution and delivery. Your expertise in project management and technical engineering will contribute to successful project outcomes and drive operational excellence. You will report directly to our Director of CNS Project Engineering with a matrix report to the TXD SPE Director of Engineering and you'll work out of our Deer Valley, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our advanced engineering projects. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices. Minimum Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field · Minimum 10 years of experience in project engineering or technical CAM roles in the Aerospace industry WE VALUE · Experience with CNS products and PE processes. · Gold Level EVMS certification · Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) · Ability to lead teams to fast, practical solutions using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA). · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities · Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. · Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. · Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements. · Passion for innovation and continuous learning. · Able to travel to customer and internal Honeywell meetings both domestic and international. · Advanced degree preferred.
