Experience in patient care, emergency response, and mental health support, with the ability to perform detailed observations and communicate effectively.
Provide around the clock one to one observation of patients who are at risk of wandering off, are restrained, or atrisk of suicide; make observations of any problem the patient may be experiencing and immediately inform nursein charge; perform activities such as reading to the patient, and talking to them; maintain emergency contactinformation for the patient’s family members; and provide peace of mind for the family and help to reduce thepatient’s boredom and depression.
