Company Overview: Warehouse Associates play a critical role in The Home Depot’s distribution network by efficiently and safely handling the receipt, storage, and shipment of merchandise. They ensure that products move smoothly through the warehouse to meet customer and store demands. Role and Responsibilities: • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely. • Move materials within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, conveyors, or other material handling equipment. • Sort, stage, and transport products to designated warehouse areas. • Operate forklifts and other machinery in compliance with safety standards and company policies. • Maintain accurate inventory and support inventory control procedures. • Inspect merchandise for damage or defects and report issues promptly. • Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals. Required Skills and Experience: • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more) frequently. • Basic math and communication skills. • Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience. • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. • Strong attention to detail with ability to follow instructions accurately. Work Environment: • Fast-paced warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures. • Physical role requiring repetitive lifting, bending, and use of machinery. • Strict adherence to company safety policies and procedures required.
