Company Overview: The Inventory Associate at The Home Depot plays a vital role in ensuring stores remain stocked and ready for customers each day. This position helps drive store operations by managing freight flow, keeping inventory accurate, verifying pricing, and supporting overall readiness while following strict safety standards. Role and Responsibilities: In this position, you will be responsible for unloading, stocking, organizing, and transporting freight to maintain an efficient and safe store environment. You will also interact with customers during freight activities and work alongside team leads to achieve operational goals. • Unload merchandise from inbound deliveries. • Stock products on shelves, promotional displays, and end caps. • Move freight from receiving areas to sales floors or storage locations. • Track accurate inventory counts and product placement details. • Confirm pricing labels and signage are correct and clearly displayed. • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment (if certified). • Follow all safety procedures and loss prevention guidelines. • Provide courteous assistance to customers while performing freight tasks. • Maintain organization and cleanliness in receiving and freight areas. • Collaborate with Freight Team Leads and management to meet stocking and readiness targets.
