.Are you looking for something new? Holland Applied Technologies is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team! The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting outside sales engineers in solution selling to customers, specifying product, and matching customer requirements to proposed solutions. They need to possess technical expertise, strong communication and organizational skills. Holland Applied Technologies, located in Burr Ridge IL, is a leader in the sanitary process/equipment industry. We fabricate and distribute sanitary equipment and systems for the food, pharmaceutical, personal care, and beverage industries. Job Responsibilities: Quote Support • * Respond to and process quote requests from our outside sales team and customers directly. • Ensure margins through the quoting process in line with company targets and guidelines support for technical opportunities that need application review. • Outbound customer follow up for leads and demand gen programs • Liaison with suppliers and vendors on technical, pricing and lead time • Outbound follow up for quotes greater than $5k Technical Resource • Analyze and review customer specifications both from a technical and industrial perspective to support product selection and specification. • Become an internal subject matter expert on the GEMU product line • Fully support and follow up on inbound requests from customers via email, phone and website • Coordinated support with key accounts, outside sales and customer service Customer Outreach and Engagement • Develop relationships with key customers through the collaboration with Holland’s outside sales team and other members of the customer support team. • Outbound customer calls for lead generation and prospecting • Order Management – including date acknowledgments, handling expedite requests and updating ship dates in Holland’s ERP system. • Collecting information to set up new accounts in Holland’s ERP system. • Reviewing PEC reports and coordinating engagement with outside sales • Support hose accounts • Generate leads for outside sales through the sales inbox • Help to create blog for social media campaigns Additional areas of responsibility and Development: • Understand and master Holland’s ERP System (M2M) to best support the business. • Attend company and factory training sessions as required. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Provide excellent customer service. • Strong organizational skills • Proactive, high energy and entrepreneurial mindset • Flexible and solutions-oriented • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize accordingly. • Willingness to develop thorough understanding of primary product offerings. • Bachelor's Degree – Technical Degree and/or Engineering discipline preferred. Pay & Benefits: The expected salary range for this role is $60,000-$75,000 annually. Please note salaries are based upon factors including candidate skills, experience and qualifications, education, certifications, as well as market and business considerations. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Other factors include the following benefits: Medical insurance is available for full time employees and their dependents through Blue Cross Blue Shield. There are various options available including HSA and PPO plans. Similarly, dental, vision, and disability coverages are also available.
