Responsibilities: SSG Hotels is looking for a dedicated Director of Sales for this full service Holiday Inn & Suites located in Farmington Hills, MI. The position will include oversight of Room, Food & Beverage, and Conference Center sales. Y Specific duties may include: 1. Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals, considering market trends and competition. 2. Client Acquisition: Identifying and acquiring new clients or corporate accounts for the hotel, fostering relationships with key decision-makers. 3. Account Management: Managing relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and encouraging repeat business. 4. Negotiation: Negotiating contracts, rates, and terms with clients to maximize revenue and meet sales targets. 5. Market Research: Conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities and staying informed about industry trends. 6. Collaboration: Working closely with other hotel departments, such as marketing, events, and operations, to coordinate efforts and enhance overall guest experience. 7. Budgeting: Developing and managing sales budgets, ensuring that financial targets are met. 8. Reporting: Providing regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics to management. Additional job requirements may be required.
