Hitch Equity is building the next-generation digital lending infrastructure for home equity and non-QM products, and they are seeking a Mortgage Project Manager to bridge the gap between clients and the engineering team. The role involves managing client-facing requirements, project timelines, and ensuring successful execution of mortgage technology implementations. Responsibilities • Serve as the primary liaison between Hitch clients and internal teams, attending all client-facing calls. • Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements from clients. • Translate requirements into actionable tasks for engineering, ensuring clarity and alignment. • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and communication across multiple stakeholders. • Monitor progress, identify risks, and proactively drive resolution. • Build strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout implementations. • Collaborate closely with product leadership to feed client insights into the product roadmap. • Travel once per quarter for in-person client meetings or internal planning sessions. Skills • 3+ years experience in project management, client success, or product delivery within a technical environment. • Proven track record of managing client-facing technology projects from kickoff through delivery. • Strong organizational and communication skills — able to speak fluently with both clients and engineers. • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines. • U.S.-based, authorized to work in the United States. • Mortgage industry experience (underwriting, processing, loan officer support). • Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS) such as Encompass, LendingPad, or others. • Prior experience in fintech, proptech, or regulated industries. • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Asana, or equivalent project management tools.
