As a quality engineering intern in our manufacturing operation, you will mainly be assigned to continuous improvement projects to improve product quality, productivity, and cost improvements for our transformer manufacturing. Your Responsibilities: Participating and supporting kaizen events & other improvement projects. Projects that will impact & reduce cost savings, scrap, rework and first past yield performance. Support the Continuous Improvement teams utilizing tools from the 4Q Quality process. Process stability and capability projects to enhance Standardized Work, process flow, and built in quality. Work area layout improvements and one-piece flow improvements. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment. High attention to detail and c ommitment to accuracy. Your Background: Rising Junior/Senior in Engineering field Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program. Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical , Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
