OUR CLIENT Location: Chicago, IL What They Do: Our client currently operates in a quarter of the country with double-digit retail locations and a triple-digit growth rate making them one of the fastest-growing companies in North America. As they avidly tackle nationwide development with facilities, stores, and their headquarters in Chicago - the demand to fill their teams is at an all-time high. THE ROLE We are seeking a highly motivated M&A Analyst to join our client's Corporate Development team. In this role, you will support the evaluation, modeling, and execution of investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. The Analyst will provide financial insights, manage portfolio reporting, and contribute to initiatives that drive long-term value for stakeholders. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Evaluate investment and acquisition opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations. • Lead financial and business due diligence processes. • Prepare presentations and reports for leadership summarizing financial health, risk, and opportunities. • Support execution of agreements with internal and external stakeholders. • Conduct research and competitive analysis to monitor key market trends. • Manage analytics and reporting on the company's investment portfolio. • Collaborate with advisors and internal teams to support strategic initiatives and contribute to quarterly investor and board updates. • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency. WHAT YOU WILL LIKELY NEED • Bachelor's decree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. • 1-3 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or a related area. • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and data interpretation skills. • Advances proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion. • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to learn. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS • Must pass any required background checks. • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. • Must possess a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
