Full Description

As a Hardware Product Development Engineer, you will evaluate the reliability of materials, properties, and techniques used in production while planning, designing, and developing electronic components, integrated circuits, mechanical systems, equipment, packaging, and/or optical systems. You will frequently collaborate with peers and customers to gain cooperation, present technical information, and share project updates. This role involves networking with senior personnel within and outside the organization to leverage expertise. You will work on issues of diverse scope, analyzing data and evaluating identifiable factors to determine effective solutions. You will exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques, receiving assignments in the form of objectives and independently determining how to achieve goals. Minimal supervision is provided for day-to-day work, with guidance given primarily for new assignments. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and test electronic and mechanical systems, components, and integrated circuitry. • Evaluate material properties, production techniques, and system reliability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve project goals. • Present technical findings and project progress to peers, management, and stakeholders. • Analyze complex problems and develop creative, effective solutions. • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hardware development. • Proven expertise in resolving complex technical issues creatively and effectively. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
