Job Title: Sr. CMM Programmer Location: West Falls, New York 14170 Position: Full-time Salary: $95,000 to $100,000/Year with Benefits Relocation Assistant: Yes, Open to discussion Shift: 1st | Schedule 7:00 am-3:30 pm on-site. Some flexibility exists if needed. Interview Process: 2 Rounds Job Description: Our team in Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for a Senior CMM Programmer to join them. You will report to the Site Quality Manager and will have an on-site work schedule in West Falls, NY. Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience with GD&T Blueprints and SMM systems. They should be able to demonstrate this knowledge in speaking and in practical assessments. This role requires FAA. Please emphasize this in the screening. To be considered for a Senior CMM Programmer, here's what you'll need to bring with you: • Associate's Degree (or equivalent) in a technical field. May consider a combination of education/experience in lieu of a degree. • At least 7 years of programming experience, Zeiss CMM, and Calypso software preferred. • The ability to demonstrate above-average knowledge of complex GD&T. • In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company's "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position. As a Senior CMM Programmer, you will: • In this role, you will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining Zeiss Calypso CMM systems to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and precision • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Zeiss Calypso software, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and quality control procedures • Act as a technical lead of the site CMM programming group, plan and manage team workload. • Plan, develop, and proof CMM inspection programs for complex parts, components, and assemblies. • Contribute to the development of a cost-effective inspection system. • Devise strategies for system enhancements that assure long-range integrity and cost effectiveness of the measurement system. • Develop and optimize CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software; Program and operate Zeiss CMMs • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate measurement and reporting • Perform precise dimensional inspections and analyze measurement data to ensure compliance with engineering specifications • Troubleshoot CMM programs and resolve measurement issues to maintain smooth operational performance • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve part quality and measurement processes • Maintain Zeiss CMM equipment and ensure proper calibration in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines • Provide training to quality inspectors/quality personnel on CMM Operation.
