Oversee end-to-end operational systems, project execution, and team management for live events.
7-12+ years in live events or production-heavy operations, proven project management, and direct people management experience.
This is not a strategy role. This is ownership. Our client is a fast-growing live events and AV production company moving beyond founder-led operations. They are hiring a Director of Operations to take full control of execution, systems, and accountability. If you avoid enforcing standards or prefer influence over authority, this role is not for you. What You’ll Own • End-to-end operational systems and process enforcement • Project readiness, budgets, timelines, staffing, and logistics • Sales → PM → Production → Warehouse handoffs • Direct management of Project Managers and Production Supervisors • Onsite leadership for complex live events • Post-event reviews that drive real change (not excuses) Heroics are not the goal. Repeatable execution is. Requirements Who This Is For You: • Build order where others tolerate chaos • Hold people accountable without hesitation • Lead calmly under pressure • Fix broken systems instead of saving broken projects You are comfortable saying: “This is the standard.
