As a CPG eCommerce practitioner and advisor, he has led the eCommerce strategy, capabilities, activation, and education at RB, WellPet, Kellogg’s, and other top CPGs. Role Overview We’re seeking an Analyst to support the audit, cleanup, and optimization of the wine and spirits product catalog across Salsify and Syndigo. This role focuses on data quality, attribute standardization, catalog remediation, and ensuring retailer- and last-mile–ready product content across key channels. Key Responsibilities Project Alignment Confirm business objectives, priority retailers, SKU scope, and channel coverage Align on wine and spirits content readiness standards (compliance, merchandising, discoverability) Data Quality Audit Review catalog structure, attributes, taxonomy, and workflows in Salsify and Syndigo Identify data gaps and inconsistencies impacting syndication and retailer acceptance Quantify and prioritize remediation by retailer and channel requirements Attribute & Data Model Standardization Support standardization of wine and spirits attributes, formats, and allowed values Maintain required vs optional attribute rules by product type and channel Ensure alignment with retailer schemas and last-mile discovery needs Hierarchy, Packs & Taxonomy Validate and correct product categorization and taxonomy assignments Normalize parent/child relationships, packs, cases, bundles, and sets Verify identifier integrity (SKU, UPC, GTIN) across hierarchy levels Catalog Remediation Remove duplicate and discontinued items per defined rule Normalize naming conventions, units of measure, and pack detail Resolve validation and export issues blocking retailer ingestion Execute controlled updates with traceability Channel Content Readiness Update titles, bullets, and descriptions to meet retailer and mobile-first standards Validate imagery and supporting assets by channel requirements Maintain standardized reference product records for repeatable execution Retailer & Platform Mapping Support attribute mapping and rules configuration for Walmart, Target, Total Wine, and last-mile platforms Generate and validate test exports against retailer specifications Troubleshoot and resolve channel-specific errors QA & Documentation Perform QA on catalog structure, attributes, and channel outputs Maintain documentation for standards, workflows, and publishing processes Support training and operational handover What Success Looks Like High-quality, compliant, and standardized wine & spirits product data Successful syndication and ingestion across all assigned retailers Clear documentation and scalable workflows for ongoing catalog maintenance Qualifications: Fluent English - you'll constantly communicate with native English speakers in the US, so we don't want to see or hear any mistakes. High attention to detail and comfort working with structured data Willingness to learn new platforms and workflows quickly Organizing skills - you know exactly how to organize your work and personal time and don't want any minute to go to waste. Strong self-reliance and the ability to create solutions and make decisions on your own with the minimum required confirmations. You'll surely have a manager with whom you'll be working closely but still, you need to be independent. Tools & Stack Salsify or similar product content / PIM platforms (training provided) Google Sheets and Excel SQL (basic to intermediate) Task management tools (e.g. monday.com or similar) Prior experience with Salsify or Syndigo is a plus, but not required. Full onboarding and training will be provided at the start of the role. Working hours: You should be ready to work from 9 am to 5 pm New York time daily (EST Time Zone - click here to check your time difference) to overlap with firstmovr's team and the managers from the client's side.
