Company: Hire Nelson Company (Established 1946) Hire Nelson Company is seeking an experienced Architectural Millwork professional who can confidently read architectural drawings, perform detailed take-offs, and identify all materials required for commercial millwork projects. This is a hands-on, experienced role. We are looking for someone who understands how millwork is built — because they’ve built it. Responsibilities • Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications • Perform accurate take-offs for commercial millwork projects • Identify materials, hardware, and components required for ordering • Review plans for discrepancies and missing information • Work within Innergy ERP for access to Bill of material, shop drawings, material finishes & material inventory • Collaborate with PMs, purchasing, and production Qualifications • 5+ years experience in architectural millwork • Cabinet building experience required • Strong understanding of commercial casework construction • Ability to read blueprints and millwork drawings independently • Detail-oriented and highly organized • Comfortable working in ERP systems (Innergy experience a plus) If you understand how millwork goes together and can translate plans into accurate material requirements, we’d like to talk.
