Full Description

We are working with a boutique commercial, business, and real estate litigation and transactions firm seeking an attorney to assist with litigation overflow work on a remote, contract basis. Business litigation, banking litigation, and real estate litigation are absolutely necessary to the position. Experience with state court receiverships is a definite plus. The compensation for the work will be $90-$110/hr., depending upon attorney experience. The work is expected to require thirty to forty (30-40) hours per week, five (5) days per week, for three or more (3+) months. A part-time option may be available. Responsibilities • Prepare complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents. • Conduct first-pass reviews of pleadings and filings for accuracy and compliance. • Perform targeted legal research to support ongoing cases. • Summarize findings and provide recommendations to supervising attorneys. • Review and analyze case files, deposition transcripts, and discovery materials. • Communicate with supervising attorneys to ensure alignment on case strategy. • Coordinate with paralegals and staff to maintain deadlines and case progress.
