About the Role: The Communications team at Hims & Hers is responsible for shaping how the world understands our company’s role in advancing modern healthcare. We develop strategies to raise awareness, increase brand love, build trust and loyalty, and drive adoption of our products and services. Our job is to find creative and compelling ways to educate, inform, and inspire the world of Hims & Hers, as well as the broader healthcare industry. We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Consumer Communications to join the team responsible for driving and executing a world class communications strategy that helps our customers, community, investors, and the public connect with the company’s mission, brand, and vision. In this role, you’ll support high-priority initiatives across consumer product, brand, and executive communications. Reporting to the VP of Consumer Product & International Communications, you’ll work closely with senior members of the Communications team and our cross-functional partners in marketing, product, social, and customer insights to position Hims & Hers as a leader in healthcare, design, and consumer experience. You’ll also help shape proactive and reactive strategies that communicate how Hims & Hers advances innovative, consumer-first, and accessible healthcare, with a focus on supporting consumer products, social-led initiatives, new media placements, and company brand narratives. You can identify areas of risk and opportunity for our narrative, and you bring experience thinking holistically about brand vision and direct-to-consumer experience. You Will: Support and strengthen a strategy that increases appreciation for and understanding of Hims & Hers’ unique direct-to-consumer model, consumer impact, and brand resonance through communications initiatives, press engagement, and online content Serve as a key team member on announcements, initiatives, and campaigns that promote our platform, treatment offerings, and consumer experience Lead comms partnership with the brand social team, bringing our comms priorities to life on social media and with influencers Work directly with our team of doctors to uplift and spotlight their expertise and approach to care through Hims & Hers Draft and refine communications related to consumer experience, healthcare trends, brand look, feel and design, and our distinct product offerings Support in-person press and influencer events Develop a range of communication materials including messaging, scripts, press materials, and company presentations in partnership with internal stakeholders. Monitor sentiment, media cycles, and consumer health trends to inform strategy and narrative development You Have: 8-10 years of experience in consumer or product communications.
