About the Role: Hims & Hers is seeking a Research Operations Manager to join our Customer Insights & UX Research team on a full-time, six-month contract. In this role, you’ll serve as the operational backbone of the research function, ensuring studies run smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly. You’ll manage tools, vendors, budgets, and processes that enable high-quality, scalable insights work, helping the team stay focused on strategic research that drives business impact. This is a temporary position for 6 months. About You: You’re a systems-minded operator who loves bringing structure to complexity. You understand the logistics that power research from tools and templates to recruitment and incentives, and take pride in keeping everything running seamlessly. You’re hands-on, comfortable programming and fielding surveys, and adept at managing multiple projects and partners at once. You’re proactive, dependable, and skilled at building strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders. You care deeply about creating a smooth, respectful participant experience and are motivated by bringing the customer voice to life through well-run, ethical research. You thrive in fast-paced environments, anticipate needs, and optimize processes to keep work flowing efficiently. You Will: Manage day-to-day research operations across tools, vendors, and workflows Program, field, and distribute surveys using DIY research platforms Oversee participant recruitment, scheduling, incentive distribution, and QA for active studies Ensure a positive participant experience and uphold privacy, consent, and ethical research standards Partner with Legal, Compliance, CRM, and cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, CX) to ensure smooth execution Maintain research tools and manage vendor relationships and contracts Track project timelines, budgets, and documentation to keep programs on schedule and aligned Create and maintain the central research repository Support research enablement by maintaining documentation, templates, and onboarding materials Continuously improve operational processes to increase team efficiency and data quality You Have: 5-7+ years of experience in research operations, project management, or consumer insights support Hands-on experience programming and fielding surveys, managing vendors, and tracking research budgets Strong knowledge of compliance, privacy, and incentive management best practices Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience in healthcare, wellness, or DTC environments is a plus Our Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights): Competitive salary compensation Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) 401k benefits with employer matching contribution We are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging.
